ParkStatus.org provides the Park Status widget that allows park rangers or land managers to update the status of the park at any time and have that status displayed instantly on their web site.
If you have found that the status for the park you're interested in has not been updated recently and you would like more up-to-date information, please return to the park website and contact them directly. It wouldn't hurt to encourage them to update the Park Status widget more frequently :)
